The thicker version of Vario known as Eurohome Vario+ cleverly creates the look and feel of a solid real wood floor with the aid of it's bevelled V-Grooved edges, which give your floor a unique and charming solid plank appearance.

This floor is manufactured with a water-resistant surface offering added protection from moisture ingress, making it a great choice for bathrooms, kitchens and other humid or wet rooms. In order to ensure your flooring is fully protected all edges & joints must be sealed. We recommend using on of our Water Protection Sealant products to fully protect your flooring. It is recommended that you do not leave standing water to soak longer than 24 hours, as over time this can still cause damage to your floor.

How do you lay the board? Is adhesive required or any sort of underlay?
Laminate flooring that has a click system does not require any adhesive. The boards are very easy to install as a floating floor, and the click system keeps the boards locked in place.
You should always use an underlay with any laminate floor, what type of underlay is usually determined by the room the floor is going to be installed in, and what sub-floor will be underneath.
How waterproof is this laminate for a utility area? Thx

This flooring is fine for use in area where it may get wet, providing the flooring is sealed .We recommend a hydrokit sealant for the edges of the room where an expansion gap should be left, and also a click and seal, which can be applied to the edges of the boards when installed.

Hi,
This means that the product can be used in areas where the flooring may get wet, however extra care needs to be taken. By this we mean that the flooring needs to be sealed where any standing water may get underneath, which would be where the expansion gap is left around the perimeter of the room. You can seal the floor by applying a silicone sealant around the expansion gap, which can be hidden underneath a beading.
