This product is suitable and recommended for installation in the following environments:
The Tide Rigid Vinyl collection from Liberty Floors is our brand new range of rigid core vinyl flooring. Finding a bathroom or kitchen floor has always been a challenge, until now. Thanks to the improved technologies that go into constructing a rigid SPC vinyl flooring, there's a bigger choice of flooring suitable for use in bathrooms and kitchens than ever before.
Rigid core vinyl floors offer some brilliant benefits over regular LVT, such as a higher tolerance to sunlight, as the core will not react to high temperatures easily. Rigid floors are more dimensionally stable than a standard LVT and require no acclimatisation time when being installed.
With a textured surface which is made to mimic a real wood in a way never seen before in vinyl, this flooring is available in a choice of stunning wood effect surfaces. The biggest benefit on offer with the Tide collection, is the fact it is 100% waterproof, making this floor the ideal choice for kitchens, bathrooms and any wet rooms where long-life, hygienic flooring is a must. Easy to fit thanks to it's industry standard click fitting system and rigid construction, this product is the perfect entry-level DIY vinyl floor for any application.
This means that the product can be used in areas where the flooring may get wet, however extra care needs to be taken. By this we mean that the flooring needs to be sealed where any standing water may get underneath, which would be where the expansion gap is left around the perimeter of the room. You can seal the floor by applying a silicone sealant around the expansion gap, which can be hidden underneath a beading.
We sell a sealant designed for this purpose which you can find on the link below.
