This particular floor is finished in a brushed & UV oiled coating for a hard wearing floor with a more natural elegant feel, enhancing the natural character of the board. This flooring has a tongue and groove simple fitting system and can be nailed directly to a suitable sub-floor, or it can be fitted as a floating floor by using a standard wood glue on the tongue and groove edges of the boards.

Thank you for your question. This flooring has a Tongue and groove joint system, so it does not click together and will need to be glued. it can be glued directly to a flat concrete sub-floor, or alternatively you can lay it as a floating floor by using a wood glue on the T&G joints, and laying the flooring on top of a suitable underlay.
This means that the product can be used in areas where the flooring may get wet, however extra care needs to be taken. By this we mean that the flooring needs to be sealed where any standing water may get underneath, which would be where the expansion gap is left around the perimeter of the room. You can seal the floor by applying a silicone sealant around the expansion gap, which can be hidden underneath a beading.
