Delivery Charges

At Leader Floors we operate a delivery policy of charging for delivery on a per item basis. We do have a minimum charge of £9.99 ex VAT and we do cap the charge on a per order basis. The value of the maximum charge is dependant on the delivery location. Below are details of the maximum charges for delivery.

How We Arrange Delivery

Once your order has been processed we will contact you by email or telephone to confirm your order and arrange a delivery date, unfortunately we cannot provide an exact time for delivery as this is at the carriers discretion.

Delivery lead times are determined by the stock status of the door(s) ordered. We state on all product pages the stock status of that particular flooring and therefore work to these lead times to ensure we can deliver your order in the best possible condition. As an example, all WoodFloor+ products are held in stock and therefore are usually available for dispatch within 24 hours. Flooring from external suppliers are subject to longer lead times.

Order Times & Delivery Schedule

If the products ordered are all in stock and ordered before 15:00 the order can normally be processed for delivery the next working day, between the times of 08:00 and 18:00.

In order for us to process your order for delivery next working day all orders must be placed by 15:00. Orders placed after this time will be processed the next working day for delivery the following day. Orders placed between 15:00 on a Thursday and 15:00 on a Friday will normally be delivered on a Monday. Orders placed between 15:00 on a Friday and 09:00 on a Monday will normally be delivered on a Tuesday. However, if Monday is a Bank Holiday, delivery will be on Wednesday.

Our usual days for delivery are the working days of Monday through Friday, however, we can arrange a Saturday delivery for an extra surcharge. Please contact us for full details.

Unless otherwise stated please allow 28 days for delivery.  All lead times for delivery are estimates only. Please ensure that all delivery details are accurate as incorrect details could lead to a delay in delivery.  Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, on occasion delays are unavoidable due to unforeseen factors.

Delivery Exceptions

Although we stock the majority of flooring available on our website, there are some ranges that can take upto 14 working days for delivery as sizes and quantities may need to be delivered in from our warehouse. Delivery lead times are stated on product pages and you will be notified, at the point of order, by email or telephone of any extended lead times for your order.

Leader Floors shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the goods within the estimated timescale. Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales, on occasions delays are unavoidable due to unforeseen factors.

The Day of Delivery

As we utilise a national courier service to delivery our goods we are unfortunately unable to provide an exact time for delivery as this is at the carriers discretion. Delivery times are usually between, but not restricted to, the hours of 08:00 and 18:00. It is assumed that the delivery address is accessible by large lorry, if this is likely to be a problem, please contact us to inform us about any restrictions

Unfortunately, due to insurance restrictions, couriers are only able to deliver items to ‘kerbside’. It is not their responsibility to take the delivery into your home, it is therefore advisable to make sure that there is adequate help to unload the delivery into your home. If the courier is unable to make a delivery because you were not available, you will be liable for a charge for re-delivery.

Checking of Goods

Leader Floors request that all goods MUST be checked upon arrival for defects, damage, shortages or unsuitability. Notification of any issues with your order must be given to our courier immediately and the paperwork signed for as DAMAGED. All goods must be signed for by a person of minimum age of 18 years old.

Please DO NOT sign for goods as received in good condition without checking for defects, damages or shortages or sign for goods as unchecked, as your signature is acceptance of the goods being received in good and serviceable condition and we cannot accept any claim for these issues after you have signed for the goods.

Planning Your Job

Leader Floors strongly suggest you DO NOT book any trade person to complete a job invloving goods ordered from us, until all parts of your order have been recieved in good order. We cannot accept any liability for any costs incurred due to damages, defects, faults or issues with goods in transit.

Back Orders

If one of our products is out of stock, the stock status on our website will state indicate this. It may be possible to still order the product and we will dispatch the goods immediately upon arrival.
